Original Item: Only One Available. Straight from storage, and still in the original Anti-Corrosive packaging! This is a set of USMC WWII Era wire cutters, which have a very distinctive round "hooked" head, which allowed them to very easily hook onto wires, which were then clipped. As with much of the unissued and/or unused supplies from the WWII period, in the 1950s they were prepared for long term storage inside grease and metal backed paper. The outside indicates the contents:
STOCK NO.74-C-321 MAY-52
CUTTER WIRE H.D.
INSULATED HDL. LENGTH 9"
CAP. 3/8" - CODE 3
QTY-1 G.S. - 2 - 52
These are the typical type with hard rubber handles. The other side of the package indicates the ant-rust preservative specifications.
A great piece of unissued equipment, perfect for any USMC collection!
